Supported File Formats
Each tool above works with a specific set of formats that browsers can reliably handle without a server. Here's the current coverage:
| Tool | Input | Output | Runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Image Converter | JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP | JPG, PNG, WebP | Instantly in-browser |
| Images → PDF | JPG, PNG | In-browser (jsPDF) | |
| Merge PDF | PDF (2+ files) | In-browser (pdf-lib) | |
| Split PDF | In-browser (pdf-lib) | ||
| CSV ⇄ JSON | CSV, JSON | CSV, JSON | Instantly in-browser |
Not available yet: PDF-to-image conversion, DOCX/XLSX conversion, and audio/video conversion all need much larger libraries or server-side processing to work reliably. Rather than fake a result, this version of the tool simply doesn't offer them yet — we'd rather tell you that upfront than hand you a broken file.
What Is an All-in-One File Converter?
An all-in-one file converter is a single web page that handles several everyday file jobs — changing an image's format, packing photos into a PDF, combining PDF documents, or reshaping a CSV export into JSON — without asking you to install anything. Instead of hunting for five different apps, you open one page, pick a tool, and get a finished file back within seconds. The version on this page keeps every conversion inside your own browser tab, using the same JavaScript engine that already renders the rest of this site.
How to Convert Files Online
- Pick a tool. Choose Image Converter, Images → PDF, Merge PDF, Split PDF, or CSV ⇄ JSON from the tabs above.
- Add your file(s). Drag and drop them onto the upload area, or click to browse your device.
- Set your options. Pick an output format, quality, page size, or page range, depending on the tool.
- Convert. Press the convert button and watch the status message for progress.
- Download. Save the finished file, then repeat with a new file whenever you need to.
Is the File Converter Free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use, with no account, sign-up, or watermark. Because the conversions run on your own device rather than a paid server, there's no per-file cost to pass on to you.
Are My Files Secure?
For every tool listed on this page, files are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to a server. Closing or refreshing the tab clears everything from memory. The image and CSV/JSON tools need no external library at all; the PDF tools load a small, well-known open-source library (jsPDF or pdf-lib) from a public CDN only when you open that specific tab, and that library also runs entirely on your device — it never sends your PDF anywhere.
Why Use This Tool?
- No installation. Works in any modern desktop or mobile browser.
- No waiting on uploads. Large files don't need to travel to a server and back.
- Multiple jobs, one page. Images, PDFs, and data files in a single interface.
- Honest limitations. If something can't be done reliably in-browser, the tool says so instead of producing a broken file.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an online file converter?
It's a web-based tool that changes a file from one format to another — for example, a PNG image into a JPG, or a set of images into a single PDF — without needing desktop software.
Is this file converter really free?
Yes, all five tools on this page are free, with no sign-up and no hidden limits beyond your browser's own memory.
Can I convert JPG to PDF here?
Yes. Open the "Images → PDF" tab, add one or more JPG or PNG files, choose a page size, and click Create PDF.
Can I merge multiple PDF files into one?
Yes, use the "Merge PDF" tab. Add your PDF files in the order you want them combined, then click Merge PDFs.
Can I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Yes, the "Split PDF" tab lets you type a page list like 1-3,5,8 and download just those pages as a new PDF.
Are my uploaded files stored anywhere?
No. Every tool here processes files inside your browser's memory only; nothing is uploaded or saved to a server.
What file sizes are supported?
This depends on your device's available memory. Image files up to roughly 25 MB and PDFs of a similar size work reliably on most modern phones and computers; very large files may cause the browser to slow down.
Why did my conversion fail?
The most common causes are an unsupported file type, a corrupted file, or a file that's too large for your device's memory. The tool will show a plain-language error message explaining what went wrong.
Does this tool work on mobile phones?
Yes, the layout and every tool are designed to work on phones, tablets, and desktop browsers alike.
Can I convert audio, video, DOCX, or XLSX files here?
Not in this version. Those formats need much heavier libraries or server-side processing to convert reliably, so rather than risk producing a broken file, this tool currently focuses on images, PDFs, and CSV/JSON data.
